The same benefits of having our single supplier described in the wrapping section are of course valid also for Cartoners.

BSC Cartoners are continuous motion machines, able to package rectangular, oval and round soaps, banded or bandless, with tuck-in or glued closure.

Packaging speed range from 150 bar/min up to 700 bar/min. Very high speed Cartoners are particularly important today, since Binacchi builds the fastest Soap Press of the world and because High Speed Lines proved to be the most economical way to produce quality soap.

Normally BSC Cartoners are fed by the exclusive Binacchi DPT infeed system (see USN stampers section) with the advantage of a compact line layout and highest soap quality.

CARTONING CYCLE

Cartons are taken from the infeed magazine, then opened and placed inside the cartoning chain by a rotating group with vacuum cups (see photo). Soaps inside the bucket conveyor reach the cartoning chain where they are pushed laterally inside the open cartons by a set mechanical pushers. Carton flaps are finally closed or glued, depending on the model selected.

BSC Cartoners are complete with “no soap – no carton” device that automatically stops cartons feeding whenever a soap bar is missing in the infeed conveyor. Packaging operation will automatically restart as soon as soaps are again detected in the infeed. In case of glued closure, an automatic system takes care of discharging products from the sealing section in case the machine is stopped for whichever reason.
