FLOW PACK PACKAGING

Bar soap packaging in flowpack (also called pillow pack or fin seal) is a modern trend having the advantage of using a simple machine with very low packing material costs. It is used for hotel soaps, toilet soaps and sometimes also for laundry soaps.
Binacchi can supply machines starting from simple and economical machines for 50 - 100 bar/min up to 500 bar/min., in stand-alone configuration or integrated with other packaging machines, like cartoners.

The Binacchi BFP Flowpack can be fed using Binacchi DPT mounted on the Stamper or by a UPI Universal product Infeed. Normally high speed lines use DPT system while low speed adopt UPI.

All heat sealable materials normally used for soap packaging can be used on the machine.

Depending on the operating speed the BFP Flowpack is supplied with one or two reel holders.

WRAPPING CYCLE

Soaps are fed in longitudinal way onto the infeed conveyor having the purpose
of keeping them at regular distance. The packaging material, that must be heat sealable, is unwinded from a roll. Then it is wrapped around soap bars in longitudinal way, in phase with soaps, thanks to a photocell that takes care of centering the print over the soap bars.
Two heated fin seal wheels on the bottom are responsible for sealing the longitudinal film connection while a rotating cutting-sealing device makes the end seals and separate each pack by thermo-cutting it.
