WRAPPERS mod BSW

Binacchi & co. is manufacturing BSW soap wrappers since 1994 and various tenths of machines have been supplied from the small private company up to the big multinationals.

All BSW wrappers are continuous motion machines, operated by servomotors and able to package rectangular, oval and round soaps, banded or bandless, with single or double wrap, using paper or BOPP or other heat sealable materials.

Packaging speed range from 250 bar/min up to 600 bar/min.

BSW changeover is easy and fast. Medium and high speed models are available with double reels supports and automatic splicer, to avoid production downtime when a reel is finished.

All BSW wrappers are available in left hand and right hand configuration.

Normally BSW wrappers are fed by the exclusive Binacchi DPT infeed system  with the advantage of a compact line layout and highest soap quality. DPT infeed is a must for High Speed Lines. However it is also available our UPI universal infeed, able receive soap bars from a flat belt conveyor.

Main advantages of Binacchi BSW wrappers:

- fully integrated electronic control with Binacchi USN stampers

- very precise control of paper and soap position, ensuring high quality and efficiency

- lower grippers with better grip with irregular soap shapes and high flexibility of soap shapes

- simple and fast size change-over

- easy and inexpensive maintenance

WRAPPING CYCLE

Outerwrap (paper or BOPP) and stiffener are unfolded from reels by traction rolls driven by servomotors. In this way cutting length and print centering are controlled electronically in a very smooth and precise way.

Outerwrap and stiffener are cut in phase by a rotating knife, servomotor operated as well.

Soaps inside the bucket conveyor reach the wrapping area where cut outerwrap and stiffener are aligned over the bar and folded around by the action of grippers. The same gripper keeps the tablet during the subsequent operations of lateral folding and sealing.

BSW wrappers are complete with “no soap – no paper” device that automatically stops paper and stiffener feeding whenever a soap bar is missing in the infeed conveyor. Packaging operation will then automatically restart as soon as soaps are detected in the infeed.
