Binacchi’s MPSD is the state-of-the-art technology patented plant to produce soap with reduced investment, compared to traditional saponifications with glycerine recovery plants.

After more than 30 MPSD plants, supplied all over the world to the most important soap factories, Binacchi is proud to introduce its cutting edge technology by an integrated plant. This solution foresees the direct connection of a continuous saponification plant to a soap dryer of matching capacity.

The saponification plant produces liquid soap with a reduced water content and at a suitable temperature to ensure that soap can go directly to the Vacuum Chamber of the soap dryer, in order to obtain soap noodles having any desired moisture. The glycerine generated by the chemical reaction is left in the mass (SWING process).

The main advantages of this technology are:

  1. Lowest ever manufacturing costs with extremely low energy consumptions. In addition, this process produces 8% more soap starting from 1 kg of oils/fats thanks to the “filler effect” of glycerol generated.
  2. Elimination of many components both in the saponification and in the drying sections, with relevant reduction in investment and space requirements.
  3. Excellent soap quality thanks to no contact with oxygen or external environment. Soap crackings have been practically eliminated and there is no grittiness or sandiness in soap.
  4. Total flexibility of raw materials and type of soap produced: tallow, palm oil, stearine, coconut, PKO and other similar oils and fats; but also distilled fatty acids and/or PFAD in any percentage. Moreover, thanks to the very small quantity of soap in process, it is possible a very easy and fast formula changeover, including the one “on the fly “, without empting the plant or blowing steam in pipes.
  5. Compact layout with very reduced space requirements
  6. Accurate and easy control of soap moisture. Thanks to this innovative process, is now easy to change the quantity of final moisture in noodles.
  7. Extremely easy plant operation: no necessity of qualified personnel. Start up and shutdown are very easy and fast. As well as formula change-over.
  8. Possibility of plant upgrading to a CSWE continuous saponification with glycerine recovery at any moment in future, still maintaining the same items.

The Binacchi reactor, compared to other reactors available on the market, has the advantage of generating a very intensive mixing-emulsification action thanks to the special design of its agitator and high power motor.

Moreover, Binacchi dosing system is much more precise than competitors thanks to utilization of positive displacement pumps instead of cheaper centrifugal pumps to meter reagents. This will guarantee constant composition of your soap under any operating conditions.
